Coffee Prices...OMG

I just opened a "new" can of coffee. The can was the SAME EXACT SIZE as the last one i bought.

Only the previous can said Net Wt. 34.5 oz

The New Can says Net Wt. 27.8 oz. ...(It was NOT full)

I ALSO used to buy Hills Bros Coffee as I love it, however, it is no longer available in all the grocery stores near me, so I bought an off brand, (hate to say it Great Value Dark Roast) from Walmart.

It IS AWFUL. I'm going to take it back..it tastes worse than dishwater.

We are getting really really duped on SIZE...I'm going to watch it closer.

Thanks for listening to my rant!

The only problem is, no primitives came to this campfire to listen, and it's been almost three weeks.

AFAIAC, there is only one coffee in this world: Community Coffee dark roast.

I  brew a small pot each morning, very strong, with a little sugar, and drink 2 mugs and no more.

A great eye-opener!!

3 words... 8 'o clock coffee. They have been around longer than all those gourmet coffees combined. Ain't as expensive as all those gourmet coffees either and tastes better.

We stopped buying coffee at the grocery store a long time ago.  We buy ours through the mail from an outfit in Minnesota.  The best thing is, it is no more expensive than what you get at the grocery store.

Everyone knows negative interest rates creates honest capital formation based on the merit of work and offering products people need

:rotf:

I swear after the 4th time we've played the low interest rate game to create credit bubbles you'd think someone might have figured out they were destroying the capital structure of the country and encouraging people to invest overseas.

I still am scratching my head how a guy who got every policy decision wrong the 4 years he was in his job was given a second term by the United States Senate.

When the voters are dumb and fooled and elect someone they shouldn't, I'm not surprised but the Senate is supposed to be the body that supervises such idiotic decisions for important positions like Chairman of the Central Bank.

Eight O'Clock Original is my regular brand. Actually, Wal-Mart's Great Value 100% Arabica is pretty good too and more than holds its own against the other "standard" brands.

When I want to treat myself I get Starbuck's House Blend whole bean and grind it myself. It's much better than what SB's serves in their stores.

My wife just recently bought one of those Keurig single-cup machines that brews from the little individual "K-cup" containers. It's been fun experimenting with all the different brands that came with it in the sampler pack.

Under donk rule it was no mistake. NO MISTAKE.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I applaud the 18 Republicans and 11 democrats that voted against him.

The other 70 Senators of both parties...not so much.
