The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs. Jobs for every American is doomed to failure because of modern automation and production. We ought to recognize it and create an income-maintenance system so every single American has the dignity and the wherewithal for shelter, basic food, and medical care. I’m talking about welfare for all.
This is your main problem DUmbShit!
Tell me, how many blacksmiths are there building & installing horseshoes these days? Petty much none.
Why?
The AUTOMOBILE replaced the need for their skill set. The smart blacksmiths eventually went to work for Henry Ford, worked LESS hours overall, did NOT have to manage business books and was better off for it, asshole!
I work with industrial automation and when teaching customers, I tell them the same thing - we do not pour soup mixture manually into cans a ladle at a time, we program, upgrade, and maintain computers and machines to do it for us. We upgrade our skill set, become more valuable to the corporation, make more money, and increase our job security.
Career success is NOT measured by the size of your gummint welfare check, DUmbASS...
