I don't even wanna know how much it would be for our 4 mules, 12 horses, a Mammoth Jack, 2 steers, 4 dogs, and 3 cats!!!!

I'd have to get a loan from Bill Gates!

Well, I do have 30 more steers every spring! I ship them to auction usually the week before Labor Day, before the price of beef falls! I waited one year until a week after Labor Day, and the price dropped like a rock! I lost my butt on that one!

This next year I'm goin' to buy heifers and put my Bull in with them. It's a lot more work but I've been told pregnant heifers are in great demand! Our bull is currently on loan to guy who has a few hundred head, we make a pretty good chunk of change that way, but I'm thinkin' I could do better by impregnating some 3 year olds and then sendin' them to market. Kinda like, buy one, get one for half price! And, I don't have to winter them or go thru the birthing. I'm gettin' too old for that, anyway!

I think their tongues are pretty much the same. They seem to get rougher the older they get! His, I swear, could take the paint off my truck, and he's only 6! Not sure how old dairy cows are, but don't they keep them longer than that?

I've raised Bubba since he was born, I swear he thinks he's just a big dog!

You still better be careful around him.

A local fellow had a pet bull like that. Kids would ride him and pet him. One day the bull got the owner down and dam near killed him. He spent 2 or 3 months in the hospital. His wife kept after him to let her kill the bull. He wouldn't let her do it. The first thing he did when he got out of the hospital was kill the bull. When the wife asked him why he hadn't let her do that earlier he said, "Somethings you just gotta do yourself."

My, my, my, I should hope to high heaven it was the cat.  At least s/he has a purpose in life.  A small purpose to be sure, to make h/h owner's life more joyous, or at least wealthier (depending on whether or not you believe the tale of woe), but Grayson, are you kidding?  That guy is more worthless than tits on Allo's Bubba!

He sure is a looker, AR.  Him, I'd sink some money in.  A cat, sorry, but not likely.
