Per KFI-AM 640 Los Angeles...

She walked into court this morning just after 9:30 local time, and was almost immediately handcuffed and remanded to the custody of the LA County Sheriff until at least October 22, at which time the issue of bail will be addressed, as well as whether not to revoke her probation.

In other words, she's aint goin anywhere for at least the next month.

Give me a break Sparky, Lindsay has been talking to Martha Stewart and getting all kinds of advice on how to spend her time .

Turn her loose in the general population and she will will be making over the inmates, hair care, make up and posture.

Now if I were a computer dork I would love to hack into the bank accounts of the professionals at that treatment center to see if a big influx of money was placed into their accounts when they diagnosed Lindsey as a non addict and released her early.  Not to say anything was going on, but the treatment facility needs a good look.

This is really a slice of life we get to see of the privileged, interesting and we all watch to see when this woman will --how--- when she will die.

Wasn't there some kind of super duper ankle cuff thingy that was supposed to shock her into oblivion if she so much as looked at a narcotic or martini????

Turn her loose in the general population and she will will be making over the inmates, hair care, make up and posture.

Vesta, I can guarantee you that the Twin Towers Central Jail (which is where the women's unit is located), is the most notorious and violent pre-trial detention facility in the country, and that Lohan will be nowhere near the general population. However, far from being coddled in a private area, she will be classified as (in the vernacular of the LA County Deputies) a "high-power" inmate, and will be isolated in a cell 23 hours a day. "High-power" doesn't allude to an inmate's celebrity; rather, it signifies that they're either a very real target of other inmates, or exceptionally dangerous to others.

No TV, no "day room" with card games, no socialization with other inmates, three luke-warm shit meals a day delivered in a styrofoam take-out tray and one shower a week. Hope the girl likes to read, because that's about all she's going to be able to do to occupy herself.

Look at her booking photo from her last stay -- she's in orange, which signifies her "high-power" status, as opposed to those wonderful Democrats from Bell, who are wearing blue (signifying general population). Rizzo, one of the Bell, CA inmates, appeared in court in faded brown, which indicates he's housed in a health care unit cellblock.

Bottom line is this: the LA County Jail makes the California Department of Corrections seem utopian by comparison. The deputies run that place like a scene right out of "Midnight Express," so even though Lohan won't have anything to worry about from other inmates, rest assured she won't find any special favors coming her way from the people that have the keys and guns.

Well, the reason the judge declined to set bail today was precisely because it would mean Lohan couldn't be released by the sheriff, over-crowding or not.

Who is paying her way these days? Did she make a lot of money in her films? I watch TMZ on TV at night, they have her on lately in a new Porsche. She is getting money somehow, when that runs out if she does not die, she will be on the Smoking Gun TV show next to Tanya Harding and the Baldwin guy.

Aw c'mon now.  She can't be that

Unfortunately, that isnt gonna happen.

KFI-AM has just reported that Lohan's lawyer appealed to the judge in an ex parte conference, and that said judge has relented, granting Lohan a $300,000 bail.

The self-destructive, self-absorbed nihilist will probably walk out tonight. So much for not enabling, huh?

Personally I don't give a flying F about her one way or another, and maybe, just maybe if no one else did, she might end up either being worthy of everyone's attention, or she would just fade away.  One can hope.

You kiddin me?  I think even he is feeling sorry for her right about now.

Oh, and nice to see she (her lawyers) could go "judge shopping" to find one to actually grant her bail.

Women process through the Twin Towers?  I thought they went to Century.  Then again, I've been gone for 4 years.  (ETA--Just looked it up.  Twin Towers is men only.  Century is for women.)

But yeah, neither one is exactly country club.
