a. Yup, she would not have spoken back to you.
b. No way would she been out by herself.
c.
Ok. Here is my bouncy. But it's real, and I have a pic on my phone to prove it!
So, last Saturday I had to come in to work. I work in suburbia, in a 6-story office bldg, right on the corner of I-35. About 9 am a supervisor came in to our dept to tell us of some strange goings on outside. (We are a 24x7 operation) Outside, on the street there is a bus stop, that has limited weekend availability. And waiting at the bus stop is a lady in a full black buraa. I thought it was some goth kid headed home from a long night of partying to be quite honest, and I went to get my phone to take a pic. This was about 8:00 am. I ran back and took a pic, and then she turned around, and I noticed it was a burqa, not a vampire outfit. Wierd. Apparently she had been walking up and down our block, since people were reporting it to their supervisors as they came in for their shifts.
Our security guard asked her what was up, and she said she got off the bus to go to the bathroom at the corner gas station, and now she is waiting for another bus. My boss called the cops. Yeah, racial profiling and all that.....we report it, the cops do a drive by, and she is gone, like the bus came or something. A few hours later, she is back. WTF? We are essentially in an industrial park. No stores, no nothing. Walking up and down the street, She goes to the other corner gas station, and hangs out on the corner for about 30 minutes or so. No bus stop there. My boss calls the cops AGAIN. And since I am the only one in this crew that knows my directions, ie: She is standing on the southbound service road, looking south, rather than she is looking at the highway

, I get to tell Mr. Police Man a blow by blow.
Well, now she has a backpack, or something big up under that burqa, on her back, and she is carrying a briefcase. Weird? Yeah, and she walked up to the gas station, to the tanks, pump number seven, and is fiddling with the gas hose. The mgr of that station was standing in his parking lot, like just staring or trying to shoo her away and then up comes a car, just a 4 door sedan and she gets in. And they sit there forever, and then take off, the whole time I am telling the cops this whole story. The end.
I would like to add something like "and when the cops came to patrol our perimeter, they jumped out of the bushes and confronted my boss with her stereotyping" But, what really happened is that my boss told the officer she was wearing a black robe, trying to NOT stereotype, and the officer asked if she was wearing "native gear."
I don't know what exactly happened that day, but to see a burqa wearing woman walking by herself in an industrial park, just seemed very odd and unsettling.
But it did put a little excitement in my Saturday.
ETA: I really do have a pic on my phone! But it is through a window, so she kinda looks like a vampire hobbit.
