(CNSNews.com) – Eight of the 15 experts consulted by the Interior Department for a report about oil drilling safety on the Outer Continental Shelf -- a report commissioned by President Barack Obama -- said they disagreed with the report’s call for a six-month halt on current deepwater offshore drilling operations. I do have to give him credit for one thing - it seems like most politicians these days sway like a tree in the wind... This dude is sticking to his guns despite all of the opposition (including citizens)... In many senses, opposition seems to increase his pace and cement his position. Something I think many of us have wanted to see for years from our "leaders" and haven't seen.. unfortunately, this one is cemented almost directly in the middle of a communist agenda instead of freedom and liberty.

I certainly am not going to argue that his position is at all right, just or moral. I just find it ironic, in some sense, that many of us have been asking for a steadfast leader for years, perhaps decades, and when we finally get one, he's unfortunately on the wrong side of freedom, liberty, rule of law, COTUS, etc, etc..

Excellent question, IMHO, especially considering the GM/Chrysler dealers that were supposedly targeted for their support of the GOP.

Having said that, I think a good portion of the population would act VERY differently if this were happening to CA.

Speaking of conspiracy theories, and off topic, of which I apologize in advance, I just watched a show on the Military channel where they reproduced the "Magic Bullet" from the JFK assassination. Truly enlightening! DUmmies really should look it up, it'll blow holes in their second gunman theory! They reproduced all 7 wounds mimicking all of the conditions in Dealey Plaza! It will make their heads esplode!
