This show is so freakin' awesome and weird at the same time. Anyone catch last night's episode? What about Bill? He is basically leaving Sookie which means she will be free for Erik. However, her new little protector guy is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is my new eye candy.

If you choose to refer to any guy as hot, to ensure balance in the universe... I really believe you're obligated to post a picture of a hottie woman from True Blood.  Otherwise, the whole universe is at stake, do you really want that on your shoulders?   :-)

He inspired me soooo much that I had to start an "eye candy" thread in the spa.

OH. MY.

I may just have to start watching True Blood and ignore my aversion to vampires...

When I first read that I thought you were talking about the guy who saved Tara's ass!  I was going to hurl a little.  Alcide is uberhot though!  I have been wondering how to pronounce his name since i started reading the series and I am soooooooo glad I finally heard it!  Sam's family gives white trash a bad name.  I am still hot for Lafayette.  I read he is going to be "dating" that guy Jesus who is taking care of his nutjob mom in the nursing home though. :bawl:  I like holding that slim chance in my head that he will turn colors and get with the girls.

I saw a picture of Lafayette with his wife in one of the gossip mags. Cute couple they are. I just love me some Lafayette. He just cracks me up. And NO WAY was I talking about Franklin (I think that is his name). Ick! He does have a strange power though that I haven't seen in any other vampire on the show. He got Tara in a trance. She must be really susceptible to that kind of stuff. And what about Bill and Lorena? That sex was freaky. Breaking her neck and all? Sam's family is the epitome of trash. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. And yes Alcide! My new LOVE!!!!

I thought Bill was going to pop her head off after he twisted it.  That along with the flashback were some seriously freaking stuff.  His poor wife.  It probably would have been better had he just killed her.

He should be around for at least this season.  That Franklin guys freaks me out.  I thought it was sweet the way he gave Tara flowers though. :rotf:  The more I watch this show the more convinced I am that Anna Paquin is the worst choice for Sookie.  She is a great actress but soooo not the way I pictured the character.

Ok, so what in the world is up with Franklin? He is a freak. What is his obsession with Tara? And is she playing him? Or is she under his spell? I really couldn't tell. I thought she was scared to death of him, and I still think so, but then I see where she kinda sorta might be into the freak.

Oh, and Erik is out for blood now. Revenge big time! And I am conflicted. I want Sookie to be with both Bill and Erik.

I'm a big fan. I don't have cable, but I catch the latest bootleg streams of new episodes online within hours of their airtime, I have season 1 and 2 on dvd, and have read all ten books.

Are you up to date with season 3 because I'd hate to spoil it for you?

It used to bother me that the HBO series didn't follow the books very much, but now I think I prefer Alan Ball's take on Sookie and her compadres.
Not that I expect you guys would agree, but that man candy is sure fine.

I don't mind the differences. It keeps it more suspenseful for me. Plus, what's his name (Tara's cousin) would have been dead in the back of Andy's car, and the show wouldn't be half as entertaining without him.
