Eating down at the local Noodles.

I hear to 3-piece suit types sitting behind me are grousing about government regulations and how the free-market business interests are so-o-o-o much better than the government at protecting people and resources.

"Maybe," I said turning around in my booth, "if the corporations could regulate themselves quickly and efficiently then there wouldn't be a need for the government to step in."

I was then excoriated for being too young and naive to understand how REAL business works. They did everything except tell me to go home and make dinner for a husband for whom I should produce many male heirs.

Score one for the hippy-chick. Oh yeah!

I have been reading these for years and they are all LAME except for bouncy ball, she went into detail and lied every time but they were almost always humorous

True, the original was always the best.  Occasionally there is a somewhat creative "bouncy" story that is less than lame.  As long as it doesn't involve a car dealership, doctor's office, or oil change place.

In other words this idiot was eavesdropping on people in the next booth. Since they weren't dressed in the same clothes they'd had on for the past week it leaps to the conclusion they have to be "rich". It hears a few key words like government & stock market (they could've been talking about buying a combination of government bonds & stocks for a college fund for their baby) and decides to poke it's nose in. One of them says, "MYOB you stupid, smelly bitch!" And thus, the bouncy was born.
