one would think... that since I'm only a few miles away... that you'd at least drive by and throw a snowball or two...  :-)

I35 is amongst the most boring roads I've ever been on... right behind I80 through Nebraska... Get to drive both next week. UGH!

Take I-10 across the Florida panhandle for great excitement. Miles and miles and miles and miles of endless tree farms. You actually look forward to curves so the angle of the trees change a bit.

ETA: I-95 is just a short 1.5 miles west of me. SR 528 AKA the Beachline, which someone drove to the beach on when she was here last year is less than a half mile north of me too.  Just FYI :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. I don't get out much... I've made that drive from Nashville to Raleigh more times than I care to think about it.  I need to try something different next time, but I also need to visit my aunt and my father.

Whoa, wait a minute there! Everybody knows that Jackson, TN, home of Carl Perkins and Casey Jones, is the de facto "pit stop" for those traveling Nashville-Memphis. It's about halfway and therefore good for a tinkle stop.

Crossing the Tennessee River ain't bad. Lots to see in that area if you like trees and snaggle-toothed folk.   :lmao:

Try driving between Anchorage and Fairbanks at 45 MPH in Jan and see how much fun that is. The scenery didn't matter after the first 100 miles and the last 100.
