I TIVO'd the show and just watched it. Indeed he said if the Republican party gets on track....and Glenn interjected it is a pretty big IF..which is true.
I was surprised by the show, it was not quite what I had expected. For some reason I thought the two of them would launch a salvo or two at Obama but it was really mild.
As a personal aside, they talked about another George Washington emerging, reluctant to serve but someone that the public would indeed follow. I suspect it would be Schwartzkov or Tommie Frank only after we have had all hell break loose. It would have to be someone the military would have no problem following.
I am really anxious to see what happens when Palin starts raising some issues. She seemed to get it on the fact the average American feels totally disinfranchised because their elected representatives are no longer listening to them.
My biggest frustration was the fact they did not dwell on the media not doing their job. They alluded to the double standard but someone has to really take the mainstream media to task, day after day after day.
