DUmmy Writer - A Budding DUmp Star?
« on: January 05, 2010, 11:46:33 AM »
I think we should keep an eye on DUmmy Writer. She's the nutbag who wrote about her father-in-law advising her to drop out of a doctorate program if she's going to start whelping little DUmmies. He couldn't see the point of a doctorate in womyn's studies or art appreciation, or whatevere she's studying. Anyway, here she has another post worth bringing over. DUmmy Writer could develop into an entertaining DUmmy:

Good job, George, you ****ing speck of a human being.
You did such a bang-up job imploding our national economy that journalists and political observers have a name for it:
THE GREAT RECESSION.
This occurred under your watch, you brain trust.
THE GREAT RECESSION.
The possibility for us to reclaim the jobs lost under your amazing disaster of a presidency may take at least a decade.
THE GREAT RECESSION.
As a member of Generation X, who will be the first generation to do worse than their American predecessors since WW2, let me be the first to suggest:
TAKE YOUR GREAT RECESSION AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS.

4. I get sick when I see people blaming the economy's ills on President Obama
He and his administration have done a great job pulling us out of the Repub Recession and on the path to recovery.

I had no idea DUmmy virgogal was in her 70s. I always expect people of that age to be smarter than she is.

5. Aw,come on Gen Xer----you'll survive. I was born in the worst
year of The Great Depression and I survived.
I spent the first 50 years of my life sacrificing and "doing without".

6. At least you have a perspective of true sacrifice that others do not.
Our generation has it no where near as bad as those who lived during the Great Depression, but what we're seeing is that hard work and education no longer mean anything. The dream is completely out of our reach. And then they called us slackers... and cynics... HELLO???

DUmmy Writer has no intention of ever doing hard work, and she's getting an education that would be worthless during the richest boom time. She is a democrat slacker. Someday, she could be a threat to Pam's throne.

Once again the DUmmies refuse to recognize that the DimRats were in charge of congress when the recession started.  Once again DUmmies refuse to acknowledge the role that DimRats had in causing the housing boom and bust. Stoopid Dummies.

If "rewriting history" and "not understanding economics" is a resume enhancement for being a Top 10 DUmmie, then the writer primitive is well on her way.

"Great Recession" sounds like a pansy-assed attempt to compare relatively modest present-day hardships to the Earth-shaking world-wide financial collapse of the Great Depression.

HELLO???

Is there anything more annoying?  Writer, HELLO??? is not a cogent arguement.  Anyway, I reject your premise, as I am doing as well as my parents through education and hard work.  Also, I avoid whining and looking for free rides.  Enough about me, what have you done all day?

My dad graduated HS in 1934 -- worked many jobs and put himself through Jr. college/college by 1940. He did what he had to do to succeed -- he wasn't sitting around moaning/crying about Hoover and how he was now totally screwed and had no future like this dummy moron!  :bawl:

I have a son who graduated from college in 2009 - supposedly one of the worst years for college graduates to get a job.  He has a job but not doing what he really wants to do.  And he lives in the RV capital of the world - Elkhart, Indiana - that lovely place that Obamalamadingdong visited several times to do whatever it is he does.

Anyway, my son says that he hopes this financial disaster we are experiencing right now resolves itself but until that time, he will work whatever job he needs to.  He doesn't complain or cry about it.  However, he and his girlfriend have decided to leave that hell hole of Elkhart and move back to Texas in April.  He says when the **** really hits the fan, Texas will be the best place to be.  I agree.  We have the guns.

If marijuana is fully legalized, a new industry will be born.
Quickly, companies will step in to package and market marijuana cigarettes. There's also the likelihood that a corporation would form from the expanding marijuana market. This would become a heavily capitalist enterprise.

My question is: Good, bad, or ugly? Would marijuana become a sell-out product for the market? Would it still carry the same anti-establishment mystique?

Do you even agree that we would see the commodification of marijuana products? Or would there be something "special" about legalized marijuana that would make it immune to capitalist forces?

Actually Indiana isn't a bad place to be at all, just not that part of it.  The area 50 miles or so south of Naptown down to the Ohio valley is chock full of ruggedly-independent rednecks, it's where I was born and raised.  Not exactly a shortage of guns there, either.

That would be hilarious. The most militant anti-smoking nazis would be burning rubber, trying to reverse course to a pro-smoking stance.

I grew up in Indiana and I shouldn't have called it a hell hole.  By Naptown do you mean Nappanee?  I've lived in several different places in northern Indiana.  Way back when my dad coached football at Nappanee High School.

By Naptown do you mean Nappanee?

No, Indianapolis.  Slang term from awhile back, popularized by the Indianapolis FM radio stations.
I've been to Nappanee, coincidentally, though it's a long way from the stomping grounds of my youth and young adulthood.
The northern half of the state was pretty much planed smooth by glaciers during the Ice Age, there is not much of note to the terrain there.  Southern Indiana is more like the Ozarks where I live now, only more densely populated, by and large.

I wonder if this idiot realizes that 'the Great Recession' was both a joke and the title of an episode of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'.  The really ripped into socialism in that episode.
