It's been 23 years today...

And I would to it all over again in a heartbeat.

I can't believe that I have been married for 23 years yet at the same time I can hardly remember a time that he has not been in my life.  I met him a week before I turned 15, married him when I was 20 and I hate to brag but it has been a walk in the park. I'm pretty sure he got the raw end of the deal.

As a I guy I would disagree with that last statement. :)

Well, at 39 years this June, Lady Underwire and I probably win the CC Longest Marriage trophy, but 23 years is nothing to sneeze at either.  It won't be long now until you turn from being "that nice couple down the street" into being "that older couple down the street".  It kinda happens overnight without you knowing.

Thanks guys.  My husband took the girls and a friend of my oldest daughter (who came from Dallas for a visit) to Venice Beach.  They are still gone.  That should show you that we have been married for 23 years, he goes off to the beach and I stay home.   :p  He is taking me to dinner tonight though.
