Going to get my haircut was brutal today.
It was pretty and sunny, but bitter cold and the wind was blowing pretty good.
First off, couldn't get any of my vehicle doors open, so i had to use the claw end of a hammer to pry one of the doors open.
After I let it warm up for a good forty minutes, went back out in the wind to scrape.
Had to drive along the lakeshore and cross over into Rouses Point, NY. As I said, it was sunny, but the snow was blowing in off the frozen lake, so it was like driving through a sunny blizzard, over huge drifts of snow across the road.
I noticed at the head of my island on the way back home a new sign that says "Low salt and sand use area". Basically, that means the plow scrapes the road down some, and you are on your own from there. Good luck not ending up in the lake.
