Election Day Predictions
Hoffman wins in NY 23 by 5%
Corzine wins by 2% in New Jersey
McConnel by 11% in Virgina
Corzine could lose if Dagget's supporters don't actually vote for Dagget on election day.
We'll see.
Actually, Christie in New Jersey's going to have to win by a landslide, 60% or something, in order to cancel out the "votes" created out of thin air by the corrupt political machine there. If Christie actually gets 60% of the real vote, he'll squeak through, 50.1%-49.9% in the "official" tally.
Nothing new there; that's the way it always works.

1. The one to watch is New Jersey
Polling is all over the place.

Disillusioned Democrats will stay home and Christie will win.
We'll see, but remember, Christie will have to get circa 60% of the real vote, in order to eke out a victory.

4. I really hope not - I live next door to New Jersey.
Christie is a real bastard, and New Jersey is bad enough as it is.
Need more Dems to vote-PLEASE don't stay home!!!!
It is important.
And why is New Jersey bad enough as it is?
Who runs New Jersey?

2. Sadly, Jake, if PA runs true to form 70 to 75% of registered voters won't even bother to show up today.
Local and "off year" elections this year will decide PA's new Supreme Court and Superior Court judges as well as many county and local officials who profoundly affect our lives every day. Yet people ignore these elections and complain about the lousy condition of local government.
EVERYONE HERE:
Please vote today, and if you don't, kindly shut up about the result.
Why is the old primitive sounding so tentative, so nervous?
I thought the primitives had all three elections in the bag.

3. I'm driving a van all day in Allentown
Trying to get the vote out. We have pretty coordinated GOTV effort for Lehigh and Northampton County.
Hopefully Jack pulls this off. He's a good man, and redistricting is going to be a bitch.
Actually, all the Allentown dude primitive should have to do is sit in a cubicle in city hall, and as the votes come in from the precincts, "adjust" them.
No waste of gasoline, no depreciation on the van, that way.

5. I think Hoffman will lose NY 23.
Not so much due to the voters' political leanings but because they will
regard him as an "outsider" not familiar with that area or their needs.
We'll see.
