The family looks great, where's Dutch?

Dutch is in Fort Benning, Georgia- but returns to Colorado on Friday.

This is so true. Really, the corporate power structure mirrors politics or vice versa. Those that can do, those that can't manage, and 'manage' they do not very well at all.

Sigh, this is the one reason, which lends to my being a conservative... with a few non-conservative tendencies, 'double sigh'.  :(  But I just generally don't see big business, for which I work for, as any more effective than the government.  At least once the bureaucracy reaches a certain size.

I've always been fascinated with Richard Branson's statements that he generally never allows any of his companies to grow over, 500 I think employees.  As he finds, after around that many, the bureaucratic sludge  starts to build up and wear the gears of efficiency down.

Bah... back to boobies and Halloween family pictures  :cheersmate:

Ok, so for real I got called down to HR for wearing low cut shirts.

This happened at my previous employer who was undergoing some serious cultural changes (corporate wannabe). What we had were the old school 40+ year old workers who knew the busines inside and out and the up and coming wet behind the ears rising stars (20-30 yearolds) were planning a coup by convincing management that the old schoolers were too old to think. We were embarking on the ERP project from hell by which our company would act like a real corporation... the only problem was the solution shareholders didn't agree on the solution.... but agreement be damned, upward and onward. It was a 40 million dollar softare project that eneded up being total vaporware

Why does this matter? I'll tell you why.

Management was systematically disposing of the company veterans because (1) the veterans possessed common sense and highlighted their incompetence (2) they cost too much.  They couldn't find any technical reasons to dispose of me, so they decided my breasts were too distracting. Nay, they did not call the young kind of chunky 20-something into HR to tell her that her camel toe was distracting... Nay... they picked on my breasts!

I voluntarily left the company over 2 years ago after 23 years of service.... I have never regretted that decision.

You should have pulled a Fight Club/American Beauty blackmailing of your boss on the way out the door, and left with a year of paychecks, benefits, flight coupons, fax machine, laser printer, etc.  :evillaugh:

It looked something like this:

You see what had happened was this.... I wasn't sure if I had had a costume malfunction, so I covered the naughty bits.

Have you been working out?

Just to be clear, I didn't wear inappropriate clothing to work. But can I really help it if I carry my boobage high and out in front? Do they want me to duct tape them under my arms?

As far as I'm concerned you can never have anything considered anything but a work of fine art, never a naughty bit.

It is something we nicely endowed ladies must endure.  Such is life  :cheersmate:  Duct tape would hurt, I do not suggest it.

Meh.  Doesn't compare.  The reality was much, much nicer, I am sure.

I missed this thread, drat.

I would have suggested we all pick a DUmmie and emulate them.

Like the Giant DUmmie could be posted as Jabba the Hut swimming in a pool of jell-o
