PARANOIA ALERT: Journalists have 1st amendment rights.

The WH is running around claiming Fox isn't a journalistic outfit.

Will the WH be seeking to use the FCC/SEC to "regulate" a for-profit non-journalism business venture?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

I can do without redeye. That show is so homoerotic. I can do without a host who introduces his male guests with suggesting he wants to blow them, has a fruity monologue, and "Male" time.

And I don't care if Greg says he is married, he's obviously a flaming homo or bisexual, along with his newspaper playing co-host.

HAve you seen the way he interacts with the women on the show?  I doubt that he's gay, but does know how to make fun of people.

The worst that the WH could do would be to remove their press credentials, but then that would leave the true biased networks open to the same treatment when a conservative regains the office.  There isn't much the FCC can do to a cable network, is there?

Well, Obama has already said it refuses to do interviews with Fox for at least the rest of the year so revoking their credentials isn't too out of the realm of possibility.

As for how a conservative president might treat the liberal MSM remember Alinsky's rules for radicals: make the enemy live up to his moral code while you do as you please. In other words, they'll grouse if a conservative president banishes liberal stations while giving Fox the finger.

What this will do is put the rest of the nets on notice that unless Obama gets the coverage the WH wants to see they too could be frozen out.

Which will mean that there will be even less criticism from the other networks about Dear Leader, and Saturday Night Live will have to drop the sketches making fun of Lord Zero.

Well, if the other nets decide to tow the line and sing naught but choral praises for fear of excommunication then any criticism that does come from other sources can be waved away as, "pay no heed to those fringe elements, the consensus says I'm right."

We would be fools to assume Obama and his crew are stupid.

You raise a good point, but I also think Obama & Company blew their loads early on that little meme.

Gay men have a way with women. I am positive he is bisexual at the very least. A lot of gay people get married, you would be surprised.
If I'm up at 3am, I gotta turn off fox. I get really grossed out by the endless homoerotic innuendos.

Why are so many people in denial that Greg Gutfeld and his newspaper playing boy toy are not gay?
It's so freakin' obvious. And why does Fox News, a center right news network have a gay show on 3am???

Despite the endless homoerotic innuendos of "packing" and "blowing" his guests, Greg occassionaly talks about his "latin boy toys" that he has at his house. How much more gay proof do people need? "Male time" and rainbow gregalogues?

Maybe I'm just not that intolerant of people. I also watch Graham Norton on BBC America. He's a flamer but his show and guests are usually hilarious, much like Redeye is.

oh I'm not homophobic at all. I'm just shocked about the denial people have about greg + partner not being gay.
I've talked about this before on another forum and was amazed how many people were not convinced he was gay.
And I am heterosexual enough to be grossed out by homoerotic content.

Was there another SNL sketch last weekend?  I caught the opening sketch the week before.

I thought they did one making fun of the Nobel piece Prize. I'm not sure since I haven't watched the show in years.

They did.  It was pretty funny... Obama won the Powerball lottery.

I don't think it's a question of denial....more that those watching, just don't care if Greg is gay or not.

I enjoy the show, but only watch it if I'm up working.

It's on at 3AM because of the content....however, I would not consider it to be a "gay show".

Gay or not....Greg seems to be more politically conservative than liberal.

Thinking about this today, it really isn't that surprising that he would be lashing out and trying to delegitamize Fox News.  Anyone else remember him asking why all the Soldiers were watching Fox, and being told that that's the channel that was chosen for this time slot, he asked "is that the CINC's choice?"  I have the feeling that he was worried then about the fact that Fox would be the only outlet that would do their job and he wanted to keep the Soldiers from hearing the truth about him.

I watch it on occasion (it's on earlier here in CA) and I think it is pretty damn funny.  I don't care if he is gay or not.
