....then there's the "spikkit" to which the "hose pipe" is attached.  Normal folks refer to it as a faucet, spigot, or hose bib.

Also if you need a ride to a specific destination, you ask someone to "carry you" there.  First time that happened, I told them they were too danged big, but they were welcome to ride with me.  I got the "deer in the headlights" look in return.
