4 - 3 Way light bulbs

2 - boxes backing soda
1 - box kleenex
1 - stainless steel spatula
1 - paperback novel Jeff Shaara The Rising Tide
1 - bottle of cabernet (cheap)
1 - bad of Doritos (family size)

Challenge:

Who can guess the three items I actually went to the store with the intent to purchase???

Winner gets a  :cheersmate:!! (woot)

I'm guessing you actually went just to buy the 3-way bulbs, drano, and baking soda.

3-way bulbs, Kleenex, and fluorescent bulb.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Very logical guess but wrong. Sorry, close but no cigar. (Welcome to CC if I have not said so before)

I'll be back after M*A*S*H and a smoke to see if anyone guessed right.

I'll give the correct answer tomorrow night or if I see a correct guess. (guessers can be PMed the correct answer if they ask)

Nope but another "logical" guess.  :uhsure:

OK, since ya'll played in good faith and the "suspense" is clearly killing all of you.  :whatever: (yes I eye rolled myself)

The correct answer is:

Draino, 15" floresent buld and... ice cube trays.

Yup. bought a bunch of crap and forgot what I went for. Typical mid week flub. Good thing I;m not married, lol.

No one gets a  :cheersmate: though.  :p

That's because you cheated....cheater.  I got two of them right and you left out one of them.  What you should have done was list everything including the ice cube trays and say what two did I go to the store to get and what one item out of the list did I go to get but forgot.  Cheater.   :p

I disagree with the "cheating" aspect from the above (see: OP) however I agree with your idea (of the full list, including forgotten items). From now on, all "legal" games of "Things I bought at Target tonight" should include the "BEG rule" in the interest of fair play. Can I get a mod ruling? lol

 :cheersmate: for BEG
