RC Cola and moon pies!
Now THAT'S good Southern snakin'....
RC was our favorite as children, though we never heard of moon pies.
One of the attractions of Royal Crown was that it was the first pop we could get in big bottles.
The grownups called those bottles (I don't remember if they were 12 oz. or 16 oz.) "horse quarts".
If I had an RC, a chocolate chip cookie, and "Life of Riley" on TV, I would feel like a 10-year-old
on Friday night.
Dr. Pepper is okay, but I never knew a kid who would drink it.
At least Dr. Pepper's better than Pepsi, which we always considered to be a communist front.
I've always said if I wanted to drink Pepsi, I'd just pour two tablespoons of sugar into my Coke, and
then let it sit open overnight.
I'm sure some Pepsi weirdos will disagree.
