right, as opposed to you just insulting everyone that disagrees with you?  If you want answers to all the irrelevant questions bunny asked, just search the forum.  We've had multiple very long threads about these exact same issues.  I just think its funny that Ron Paul is now an "establishment" republican when you hated him so much and supported McCain in the last election.  Let me guess, McCain wasn't establishment, right?

I just read some blogs about Paul's district.  It looks like it is a residential district whose inhabitants are primarily defense contract employees.    One blog listed out the amount of money Paul has brought to those contractors -- which is significant.

He panders with the best of them.   Yawn.

Worth noting is that it is very difficult to oust an incumbent from a federal seat.    He brings in the pork, his constituents are happy.   End of story.

Which is why Congress Critters like Paul and Murtha continue getting elected despite the batsh*t crazy things they say.
