Ron Paul: I'm to Busy to Investigate 9/11
« on: July 19, 2009, 08:15:10 PM »
Quote
Troofer: Can I ask you a question? OK... If we’re going to audit the Fed, don’t we also have to audit the IMF, given they’re connected?

Ron Paul: Well they’re not under the Fed. But, they, they, what you’ll do is expose connections. We have a, a document that shows that the Federal Reserve went to the IMF, made the IMF pay interest to a private bank that made a loan and they were going broke. So, it’s very much involved. The audit ... you would dig up a lot of shenanigans because that’s one thing they don’t want us to know is all their arrangements with foreign governments, foreign banks and international banking organizations. We wouldn’t audit everything the IMF does, but every time the IMF had a dealings with the Federal Reserve, we would have that.

Troofer: OK and one more thing. Why don’t you come out about the truth about 9/11?

[Pause...]

Ron Paul: Because I can’t handle the controversy. I have the IIF, the Federal Reserve to deal with, and the IRS to deal with. Because, uh, no I just have work— too many things on my plate. Uh, because, uh, I just have too much to do.

Troofer: All right, thank you sir. Thank you very much.

Ron Paul: OK. OK.

It'd've been nice if he had just said, "Because 9/11 wasn't an inside job you nutsack" but I suppose he needs the votes.

I've been rather disenchanted with lgf for the last few months - turned into an evo-wacko but ultra-Zionist site IMO, but I can see their problem with Ron Paul. He said earlier today that Sarah Palin was part of the GOP establishment.

Most of his supporters are even nuttier, and they're packed full of Troofers. Ron Paul at least has some sympathies with them.

right, his district is overrun with truthers.

Since when is any congress-shit's base of support his own district?  I seem to recall a story not long ago that Sen Chris Dodd - you know, the one who's greed in monkeying with lending policies from the Senate Banking Committee caused the "housing bubble" to burst - was having trouble raising re-election cash (≈ $10,000 or so) in his own state, but he's got "constituents" from out of state contributing anywhere from $300,000 to $1.1 million (depends on who's doing the math) to his re-election, after he damned near single-handedly CAUSED the economic meltdown we're in the midst of, comrade.  I mention him merely because he's the most glaring example:  they ALL take money from outside their "districts" in exchange for "favors".

So the fact that a large portion of RonPaul's RonBots are troofers has little to do with whether they're in his district or not, comrade.

Well, then maybe I was wrong.  Maybe there ARE a whole pisspot full of troofers in his district.  After all, why would TEXANS continue to elect someone who didn't REPRESENT THEM?

They hold their nose when they vote for Dr. Nutz because the alternative is letting that seat go to a Democrat.

Fact is St Paul does request earmarks in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Fact is St Paul hangs and bangs with people he himself hung out to dry on charges of racism.

Fact is St Paul stings along his idiot trooferists.

Fact is St Paul has plenty of retarded conspiracies of his own.

Fact is St Paul is a Republican not because of any great ideological loyalty but because they cough-up shitloads of cash every 2 years.

Fact is you can't refute any of these points so you just say "lolz".

It helps that he got to keep all the money from his lame attempt at running for President for his Congressional campaign.

The Liberal establishment at that.

*tips hat*

Thank-you sir.

It's amazing how the conservative movement is fighting to define itself and overturn the RINO-ism of the last decade-plus that has eroded the GOP. St Paul hasn't even ben invited to the conversation. His zealots refuse to see its because of his racism and general lunacy and instead insist its because he's too conservative, too outside the establishment (oh, how it was funny to watch them sputter when his $400 million earmarks became known). They and there saint have such endearing terms for the GOP as "zionist" and "neocommie" (I can't wait for Johnny to tell us we've never been called such things by Paulestinians) but their swinging from the elephant's teets every election cycle 'cuz I'm guessing running as a 3rd party candidate might prove politically fatal. He's sort of a Cynthia McKinney, only with more managable hair.

I suppose in a way I should be grateful to St. Paul. He has sort of a Pied Piper effect on nutters--a role he appears perfectly happy to nurture--but if he did go 3rd party it would be better for us...

...and more genuine for him.

I just read some blogs about Paul's district.  It looks like it is a residential district whose inhabitants are primarily defense contract employees.    One blog listed out the amount of money Paul has brought to those contractors -- which is significant.

He panders with the best of them.   Yawn.

Worth noting is that it is very difficult to oust an incumbent from a federal seat.    He brings in the pork, his constituents are happy.   End of story.
