Saturday Night Lights
« on: June 13, 2009, 11:09:10 PM »
What is everyone up to?

I spent a copule days in Las Vegas, downtown, old school.......

I was going to rent a movie to watch, but ended up taking a long nap. Spent two days at Woodstock, Vegas style.

Some DUmmies showed up:

The overhead light shows, set to music of the 60's & 70's was really cool last night on Fremont Street, downtown Las Vegas...

I seen a Jimmy Hendrix tribute band & of course Elvis!

God damn hippies.

I rented Gran Tornio.  Pretty awesome so far.  FYI, Taco Bell's new "volcano" sauce is just their hot sauce mixed in some kind of cheese.

I had to work today.  It was lousy.  My new neighbors decided to use the parking lot as their personal paint studio... now there's paint all over the parking lot.

I spent pretty much all day playing outside with my kids.... Funny thing, bugs seem to have big old teeth in early part of the summer. I had a huge welt on my right bum cheek.... Wanna peak?  :p

Would it be improper of me to take a peek at your peak?

I don't have any bug bites, but I have a mean blister on my finger that won't go away.

'Gran Torino'.  Just came out on DVD, but you can probably catch it on Pay-Per-View.

I have no idea what it is.  It feels like a blister, but its hard like a wart.  I tore if off yesterday and it came back.  I don't know where it came from.

Thanks.

I took my mom.

It kept her mind off my dad's birthday, until Elvis sang "love me tender"

You're a good son, Rob. My neighbor passed away yesterday at age 88. In fact, he had his 88th birthday on 8/8/08 last year... He and his wife had been married for 64 years, can you imagine? He was put into a home in the early spring after he broke his leg and was in a wheel chair. He also was diagnosed with Alzheimers 4 years ago....Long story short, he was the first neighbor to welcome us 18 years ago and was like a grandpa to our 3 kids. Well even though he didn't know us from adam (since the onset of alzheimers), he always greeted us like he was just so damn glad to meet us. That's just who he was.

RIP to your father and Irv.
