It's been my experience, madam, that the worst drivers are in Boston and Baltimore.
I dunno why that is; it must have something to do with those corrupt Republican party machines that run those cities.
I was appalled one time in Boston, to watch as fire trucks and ambulances tried to get their way through traffic, and all of these CLINTON/GORE-bumper-stickered drivers wouldn't let them through.
That should be a penal crime, to not give way to emergency and law-enforcement vehicles. Like ten or twenty years in the slammer.
I was in Boston once, on a business trip. When I got back to Nebraska, I told my boss that I was sure they sent us to places like that just to remind us how lucky we were to live in Nebraska. He just laughed.
Where I now live, we get traffic from Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita and Kansas City traveling through. It's always a toss-up to pick the location of the worst drivers...Johnson county, Kansas has some real morons, but the Oklahoma plates are usually the worst. Mr Smith and I each travel about 40 miles to work, and 40 miles home, mostly on 2-lane highway. It is VERY common to watch some idiot try to pass on a curve or going up a hill, in a no-passing zone, with oncoming traffic. About once a month, if not more often, one of us is forced onto the shoulder by someone trying this.
A couple weeks ago, a family from our former church was traveling a near-by 2 lane highway. Someone tried to pass where there was too little room and caused an accident...the mother and 15-year-old son were killed, the daughter is still in the hospital. The people in the car that was being passed all ended up in the hospital. The idiot that caused the wreck got away.
