I can't do it! I just can't!
« on: April 28, 2009, 12:06:30 AM »
I think I'm losing all hope.

Things just aren't working out.

I've tried and tried and tried but things keep happening that just bring me back down to where I was.

I'm seriously thinking of just giving up.

It's just too hard to go on.

What's the point?

I'm just going to have to come out and admit it.

This administration is making it nigh-impossible for me to stop swearing.

You should invest in a swear jar.  You'll be able to retire by 2012.

I used to use a mason jar.  Found a three-foot-long Crayola crayon with a slit in the top.  Now I use that.

It's not like I play with it.  It sits in the corner as decoration.  Besides, it was free.

My boyfriend gave up swearing for Lent... he didn't do so well (mainly due to the aforementioned administration)...  :lmao:  He used a mason jar, and for every slip up, he would put 50 cents in it.  (mom said he should have put in $1.00 for each time...).

I think he had about $50-60 in the swear jar by the time it was all said and done.  :rotf:   I told him, next time, just give up Guinness... he cursed at me in response.   :uhsure:

He is not too fond of the boy President, let me put it that way.  :p  (it was for Lent, btw... it was much less than $11 a day... LOL... but still, he should have picked something else to give up  :thatsright:).    He did give the money to charity, though.  ;)

Well it's made me very creative with the swear words around my son :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Do writing profanities count or just speaking them?

I'm pretty good at controlling my mouth, but I still spew the curse words from my keyboard. :-)
