12 degrees at the house.  19 at work on the Seacoast.  12 hours of emergency lighting work, and since today was supposed to be a day off, all OT.

Might be working tomorrow, might not.  Depends on how it goes.

Supposed to hit the 40's today. Which would be a nice surprise.

I hope today is better than yesterday, which would not be hard to do.  I am out of here this afternoon for an all day training class tomorrow Up North Dere Hey. :p

Well the day started off promising here.  The puppy ate this months bank statement and then peed on the sofa when I tried to grab her to stick her in her crate to clean up the confetti mess without "help".   :thatsright:

Our pup, who'll be one year old next week, is reacting well to a spray bottle filled with water.

When she grabs a piece of paper or a dishtowel and runs around looking for a place to crouch down and destroy said item, then finds herself being confronted with the countenance of yours truly and said spray bottle, she meekly drops the item and walks away.

I like that. She's learning.

I do the same thing when people try to bother me at work.  Eventually they'll learn!  lol   :p

It's cold and rainy.  Shitty weather for sure.  I hope it's not raining tomorrow for the parade.   :-)

Slightly busy at work, but I'm trying my best to not really do anything.

Dude you need something that's quick on the draw with one hand, and the power soaker takes two hands.  lol  Think practical ;)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Get one of those extra large water coolers, and one of the curly type hoses from Home Depot.

Put the water cooler behind your desk, the hose under the desk.....wham!!! the offendant will never know what's going to happen until it's too late.... :evillaugh:

Should only take two examples at most.....particularly if first example has on new outfit, all done up hair and make=up..... :fuelfire:

Cool day.  I don't care though.  I'd rather someone shoot me.  Up most of the night with a lovely stomach bug,m then taught today (thankfull only a 2/3 day, but the kids were monsters).

Gonna crash out here soon, and hope I can stay out the bathroom for a couple of consecutive hours!

Hmm. Maybe I should have thought of that before I threatened to throw the guy in the office next to me off the roof of the building.

I'm not kidding, either.

Nah, I just bit his head off. I should have smacked him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper. I refer to him as "The Puppy".

He's a young guy, all bright eyed and bushy tailed, and I'm...well...I'm a burnout.

I was trying to find a problem in a spreadsheet, going through tons of formulas to figure out why it wasn't adding up right when he jumps through the door in a 'ta-da!' pose and scared the  :censored: out of me.

I said "Do that one more time and I'll throw your  :censored: :censored: off the roof."

Hasn't bothered me since....hey, I guess my way worked after all.

Tragically, yes, exactly that.

Maybe that's what pushed me over the edge.
