They need to find someone to mount primary challenges to every Democrat who voted against this.

I dunno.

I suspect that 18 months from now, every Democrat who voted for it's going to have a primary challenge.

2. Wonder how Dennis Kucinich voted . . . If he voted "no", it would be because the Plan didn't go far enough.

Kucinich also voted for impeachment of the Impeached One in 1998, in case any primitive's forgotten.

5. what was DeFazio reason for voting no.

did it not go far enough for him. I remember seeing him on Rachel what did he want more money for infrastructure.

Well, OK, if that's true that DiFazio wanted more infrastructure, I could go along with that.  Because, given the choice between what may become a mini-big-dig a few years from now, or saving Nancy's marshrat, I'd go with the dig.  Not completely unreasonable.

If the above dems, especially the southern ones, lose the primaries, the seats will just go back to us.

Eighteen months from now all those Democrats excepting for the aged DeFazio are going to be shoo-ins for re-election.

I have serious doubts about all the other Democrats, though.

Bright replaced the retiring GOPer Terry Everett in AL. He needs to keep his seat, and he knows what he has to do to keep it. If he is beaten by a more liberal Dem, the party loses.

Not at all a lock, Frank, the primaries are a whole other ballgame, after all.  Think Liebermann and Connecticut; often weird and stupid crap that plays well with the committed Democrats gets the sane one dropped in the primary, but then works against the moonbat Dem candidate in the general election later.

Four of the six are Blue Dogs, IIRC.  I know that Heath Shuler is.  He's rapidly becoming as despised among the Dem leadership as Jim Trafficant was.  Shuler went after both Pelosi and Dingy, Harry Reid in the run-ups to the original vote.

No I don't think the little prick voted against it because it didn't go far enough. He's such a socialist he'd vote for just about anything that gave the government more money and control. Some of us have been trying to vote him out for years. One guy who had a decent chance once he got his name out for a few campaign seasons (DiFazio's pretty entrenched here) was recalled for guard duty. My son took a homeland security class from him in college. Great guy. Former FBI. Left the bureau when Portland refused to cooperate in actively capturing terrorists. It would take a while (unless DiFazio retires) I think but it could be done. With the exception of Eugene (and it's a biggie), his district is pretty rural and there's lots of conservatives here. Heck, our little grocery store still puts a lighted Mary, Jesus, and Joseph right out front every Christmas and there isn't an ACLU lawyer in sight.
