Oh, and important safety tip, kids--before closing the chimney flue, make very, VERY sure that there is no more smoke coming from the fire.  Nothing sucks worse than having to 1--open the door in -2 weather to let the smoke out, 2--like a scented candle and waste a can of Febreeze trying to get the smoke smell out of the house.  And lemme tell ya, it fills up FAST.
