I had the week from hell.  I couldn't even play with you all from work. :(

and now I am coming down with the flu.  and on top of that, I am on call this weekend,
which, due to the holiday, runs until tuesday morning.

well, whatever.  I am just glad that it is Friday.

About 5' - 5'1" depending on which 7-11 I'm leaving :-) (stole that from Ron White)

I'm freezing my nuggets off. It's COLD!!!!!!!!!!!! 

And, we have to work on Mon/Tues. Oy. Thank God I don't have to cross into D.C.

DD who is 15 has a friend spending the night - yikes!

G took the other two with friends to go see Bedtime Stories.

I'm ignoring the pile of work on my desk.

We are having a fight night tomorrow night and I invited a couple that I really hope does NOT show up.   :banghead:

I have to crack the whip and make the kids do their chores tomorrow.  And Sunday I plan on going to church and then doing NOTHING the rest of the day.

Came upstairs to reset the smoke detector after I nearly burned the house down via the fireplace.  A piece of the firelog got too close to the front of the fireplace and the smoke overflowed the front.  Damn those things stink.

A "warm" night tonight--only going down to -5 or so.

I rode the Phoenix Light Rail today. I've nicknamed it the Glorified City Bus. It just started operating a month ago.

I was asked by another female passenger if I had any rolling papers.

That was about what I expected.  :lmao:

I believe I live in the largest city in the US without any public transportation.  LOL

It might come in handy for traveling downtown to Diamondbacks games. But even then I'm not sure.

In August, there will likely be some fascinating smells in the cars. Between the unwashed masses and the 115 degree summer heat, it will probably be a tad ripe in there.

It still had that "new car smell" today when I rode on it. Except for when the homeless woman/rolling papers seeker sat in front of me.

The routes are not close to me. I rode it today as a novelty experience. I wish light rail riders luck. I'll stick with my trusty Ford for most of the my travels.
