amazingly enough, ACORN bombed at election theft in november. turnout was flat in OH, and actually down in cuyahoga county, and mccain won missouri. if they couldn't steal missouri, or boost turnout in cuyahoga county significantly, then they just failed.
I know, I couldn't believe it either. but take heart, they probably stole lake county in indiana, and that's probably how mccain lost that state.
My wife got a Thank-you letter from the County clerk/recorder the other day thanking her for serving as an elections judge November 4th. It gave some stats for our county:
- About 116,000 Weld County voters voted in the General Election. That's 91% turnout of the registered voter database. The 2004 voter
turnout was 90%.
- 80% of those voters cast their ballots BEFORE November 4th. Only about 19,000 voters showed up at the polling centers on election
day in our county. 60% voted early by mail-in ballot, and the remaining 20% voted early in person at the designated locations.
By the way, Weld County was a solid red island in a friggin' sea of blue this election.
I mention this because I wonder if the growing accessibility of early voting is making the vote fraud tactics of the ACORNS of this country obsolete.
