My politically incorrect kid..
« on: December 04, 2008, 02:36:35 PM »
He's in eighth grade and a private school, that is generally pretty good.  But they have a new guidance counselor that wants help them "explore their feelings".    Robby hates this stuff.    They had a questionnaire they are supposed to fill out and then discuss it in a group.   They don't turn it in..

Question:  What would you do if someone bullied you at school?
Answer:   I'd kick their ass!

Question:  What would you do if someone stole something from your locker?
Answer:  I'd get it back, then I'd kick their ass!

Question: What would you do if someone was taunting you on the school bus?
Answer:  I'd tell them to shut up and if they didn't, when we got off the bus.. I'd kick their ass!

Question: What would you do if someone bullied one of your friends?
Answer: I'd help my friend... then I'd kick their ass!

Question: Who in your life is annoying to you?
Answer:  My guidance counselor.

 :lmao:

I don't think he took it back to school that way.   My dh thought they were all great answers.

Sounds like one of the more well balanced lads I've seen/heard about in this generation.

H5 to your kid.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Now that's a truly smart (ass) kid!  :rotf:  You have raised him properly.  :cheersmate: I hope my sis raises my nephew the same way (though given my sister's tendency to be a smart-ass, the odds of that are pretty good :p ).

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.
