Or to those of us who work out of the home, The Day After Thursday!!!

Wife is gearing up to go brave the shopping scene with the kinderfolk.  We stayed up till 4 am watching movies after they went to sleep. :)

I am gearing up for my favorite post T-Day leftover meal. Open face Turkey Sammich on crusty fresh bread with gravy.


Going to pick up the Christmas tree tomorrow and get the house all festive-like.  :hyper:  I also just delivered my Christmas list. I don't have high hopes for the 42" plasma TV. :(

I work at home, too, so I'm just confused as to what day it really is.  My husband took a few days off so he's hanging around, too.  I'm not getting as much work done as I should be.  Okay, I haven't gotten any work done.

I'm at work.  I've been keeping busy.  I'm getting all these boxes and boxes of files ready to go offsite.  I did 118 boxes at service.  Now I was gonna start over here, but I think I'll do that Monday.  I think I may leave in a few minutes really.

I just ate some delicious Thanksgiving leftovers:  cornbread dressing, green bean casserole and dirty rice.  Yum!

Now I'm thinking of opening a beer.   :cheersmate:

I did find out yesterday that my cousin and her husband didn't have flood insurance, so they're pretty screwed since Ike.  They're dumbasses to not get flood insurance especially after hurricane Rita.

I don't know.  I don't really talk to them except at the family gatherings once or twice a year.  Anywho, I did find out over 4th of July weekend from an aunt that that particular cousin and her husband have a whole lot of credit card debt too, so I doubt they have much, if any, savings.


My grandpa's house is supposedly gutted down to the studs and they have plans for how they're going to fix it up.  I'm gonna take a lot of pics when I get down there in a few weeks.
