ok, who is playing with the VRWC election theft machine before election day. :uhsure:

and in related news, after these victims of vote flipping left the polling place, they couldn't get the swipe machine at the checkout line in the
grocery store to work.  they then pumped the wrong kind of gas into their car, got the wrong change for a $5 bill, and left their debit card
sticking out of the ATM machine.  they accidentally "replied all" to an email, and trashed one of the people they replied to, thinking they only
replied to the sender.  they got into an argument with the "fasten your seat belts" voice in their car, and tried in vain to get a DVD to play
when they got home, only to discover that it was their "best hits of the captain and tennielle" CD.

they then turned their oven on, turned the thermostat off, and when to bed.

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov 3 (IPS) - Several U.S. citizens reported watching their votes flip on electronic voting machines in different states during the early voting period, highlighting the continued vulnerability of "e-voting" systems, which about 50 million U.S. citizens will use on Tuesday, despite problems since as early as 2004.

Most of the voters with complaints so far have said they saw their votes flipped from the Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama, to Republican Sen. John McCain, although at least three voters in Tennessee reported the reverse.

Vote-flipping has been reported so far in at least four states -- Colorado, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia -- out of the 31 states where early voting has taken place.

However, the reports of vote-flipping are just of the tip of the iceberg, according to Emily Levy of Velvet Revolution, a voter rights group.

They would have never known it was doing that if they had voted for the correct candidate in the first damn place.  Sheesh.  They have to make everything so hard!

any election worth running is an election worth stealing.  just think how pissed ACORN will be when they realize that all of those illegal registrations were written in ink that is programmed to disappear today. :-)

Then why did we bother to send the "Your voting day is November 5" notices to them?  Do you know how difficult it is to deliver those to the dead voters?

So after the same claims were made in 2004, why did no one ever come out and actually provide proof that machines were switching votes?  How hard is it to get a hold of one of these machines?  Not very, as numerous "vote hacking" YouTube videos show.

Again I am compelled to ask: if vote-flipping were so nefarious why show the voter the flip? Why not just have it say, "Thank-you." and secretly tally the vote for McCain?

If I were a programmer and was working on the vote machines .... I think I would have to program at least ONE of those things to do this;

Exactly.

I voted early this year and I don't know how the e-vote machines are in every state, but in NC I don't see how it can happen.  You touch the screen to record your vote, at then at the end it reviews everyone you voted for, it notes any offices you left blank and asks if you want to go back to any of the races and recast your vote, it shows all the names one more time, it asks again if that's your final vote, when you press yes it asks you again if that's your final vote, and upon pressing yes then it records it.  You have a minimum of 3 times where the machine asks you if the names listed are your choices.  Like I said, I don't see how anyone can claim anything flipped.
