I am going with Sarah.

and I will open this poll up to other suggestions . . . . even if mccain wins, I hope he doesn't run for re-election, by the way.

its one shot only for McCain.

While Huckabee is personable I don't want him.  Or Rudy.

Any of the others would be fine as well as Jindal.
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

Out of curiosity, why did you include Michael Steele an option?

With whom you have mentioned above, I'd go with Mitt Romney.  I'd like to see Jindal added to the list though  :cheersmate:

I included him because he impresses me.  I have a great deal of respect for him, and have met him personally.  were you
implying a racial (which is different that a "racist") thing?  hmmm.  probably not.  if I was being a slave to racialism, I would
have included JC watts.

I was surprised to see his selection listed, as I wasn't aware of any presidential aspirations of him.  Other than his Hannity work as of late, hadn't really heard much from him lately.  I honestly can't say I know enough about him to view him one way or the other, just didn't see him as one on the forefront for the next primary nomination list.

As for the racist ambiguous comment... oh come on, you're drunk and just trying to stir something up.  :lmao:

Shockingly though, I caught a video at a conference last night, where it was declared the only reason to not vote for Obama is because you're racist... and anyone who doesn't vote for him, well... is a...  :whatever:

Stuff like that, I'm torn between just breaking out in laughter or feeling sad... people are so blinded they actually see such things...  :mental:

michael steele is a fave of mine because he is right on the issues.  now, perhaps my standards have been lowered since a state senator
could very well be elected president in the next few weeks.  I assure you, the fact that steele happens to be black is a coincidence, not
racialism.

you may believe it or not.

and yes, I am a bit racy (in the personality and behavioral aspect of the word) tonight. :-)

Well if you're using that as criteria wouldn't that disqualify Palin (since Alaska isn't going blue any time soon)?

 :-)

I just remember his name coming up quite a bit in pre-VP announcement, he seems to be an up and comer.

nope.  pawlenty was on the national scene for over a year, and everyone fell asleep.  Sarah Palin was picked,
and the world was awakened THAT DAY.

You should make it multiple choice, I would support Plalin, Jindal, and Steele w/o reservation so they're all number one.  I would go with Rudy second and I would avoid the Huckster at all costs, which means he would probably be the nominee.  And Mitt Romney, he gave MA socialized medicine and if that is his big claim to fame then no thanks.

Palin. Accept no substitutes.  :-)

Four years as VP should quell any experience questions. She is right on the issues and as close to Ronoldus Magnus as I have seen yet.
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Um, as much as I like Ms. Palin, I'm a homer for the conservative Catholic and former Lt. Governor from Prince George's County, Maryland. Should have been my Senator, too. Not that no-talent ass-clown Cardin.

Remember, kids, you have Michael Steele to thank for these words:

DRILL BABY DRILL!!!
I would beg to differ with the notion that the current administration is *NOT* the most transparent in history. It certainly is...because you can see right through them.

2012? No question about it, Sarah Palin. I am damned tired of RINO's like Bush and McCain.

And while I am not a christian I would whole heartedly vote for Sarah.

Jindal and Steel are true rising stars.

Palin may not have it to be a Top of the Ticket (as much as I really think she is great).

Elections after this year?!  Why bother.  Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Obomessiah!

Come February, the anointed will "bury the putrid corpse of democracy"
An optimist sees the glass as half full, a pessimist sees the glass as half empty, an engineer sees that there is twice the glass required to contain the beer
