and I will open this poll up to other suggestions . . . . even if mccain wins, I hope he doesn't run for re-election, by the way.

its one shot only for McCain.

While Huckabee is personable I don't want him.  Or Rudy.

Any of the others would be fine as well as Jindal.

You should make it multiple choice, I would support Plalin, Jindal, and Steele w/o reservation so they're all number one.  I would go with Rudy second and I would avoid the Huckster at all costs, which means he would probably be the nominee.  And Mitt Romney, he gave MA socialized medicine and if that is his big claim to fame then no thanks.
