15. We are home now!
Thankfully the ER was empty. No pneumonia, but...asthma! Inhaler prescription, and a nebulizer treatment at the ER. He feels fine now, and is passed out cold in bed. In fact, he fell asleep during the treatment in the ER.
Thank you all for the good thoughts. He sounded like he had emphysema, the way he was breathing in bed. That's why I woke him up, I was scared. Everyone is fine now.
Asthma sucks. I thought I was dying of pneumonia once and it was just a severe asthma attack. Only severe one I ever had but it was scary as crap. I don't know how people lived before allergy shots, inhalers, and anti-inflamitories!
I know how I lived before inhalers...every time my parents took me in, I'd get 10 or 15 shots.

The time it got really bad, they kept me a couple days and did breathing treatments (like an inhaler, but the machine was the size of a ventilator), and made me wear a cold-steam mask 24 hrs a day.
I am so grateful for Primatene and Albuterol inhalers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
