As usual, the DUmp monkeys try to understand Christian beliefs, and also as usual, they fail spectacularly.
Anyone who believes in the Rapture scenario will likely interpret a catastrophic nuclear exchange as the opening scene of the Rapture.
Uh, no. This is backwards. In the standard "End Times" scenario, the Rapture would PRECEDE a "catastrophic nuclear exchange," not the other way around.
Thus an American president who believes in the Rapture would arguably have at least some ambivalence toward a nuclear holocaust.
Bullshit. If anything, such a president would not at all be worried about having to deal with such a thing.
A believer in the Rapture with his or her fingers on the nuclear trigger might even be tempted to bring on the Rapture.
Right, because God is beholden to our actions, not vice versa. The Rapture and "End Times" happen when we want it to, not when God wants it to.
Moron.
The Rapture, for those who believe in it, is hardly a negative event. Rather it is culmination of everything they hope for, deliverance into the heavenly arms of Jesus.
Yes and no. Part of the "everything" we hope for is the salvation of as many people as possible before they die. Trying to "bring on the Rapture" by launching a nuclear holocaust would not be in line with that hope.
Not only can you count on death and taxes, but you can count on DUmp monkeys getting Christian beliefs 100% wrong.
