Loads of leftists, from the usual Congress members with room temperature IQs to the well-oiled gang of internet lawyers, are decrying the James Comey indictment. They collectively ignore that the "man who would be king" is alleged to have made a false statement while testifying in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. That’s a crime. Will Comey find the inside of a jail cell? No. The jury pool will likely see to that, as will the Biden-appointed judge who has been “randomly” assigned to the case.
In Northern Virginia, the chances of the prosecution finding an impartial jury and the jury, as one voice, finding that Comey lied to the committee and therefore committed a crime are zero. The jury pool will be pulled from federal workers, fed worker-adjacent, and TDSers. Sorry, that’s the way the system plays out now. And, Comey only needs one. He knows the system is tilted — in his favor.
In New York City, when the Tammany machine wanted something to disappear, it would disappear. A Tammany hack in black robes would see to that. In today’s New York City, the Tammany machine is dead in name only. It’s now just the Democrat Party. Republicans are unable to stop the new Tammany machine. There is no “fusion” party to cut into the corruption.
Donald Trump was the victim of the machine. When a statute of limitations had expired, the Democrat machine in Albany passed legislation allowing E. Jean Carroll to sue Trump. Trump had Carroll declaring and stating things on camera and in court that should have put a stop to the case, but Trump lost anyway. The new Tammany machine saw to that.
Judge Engeron “fined” Trump an amount that was clearly unconstitutional, but Engeron did it anyway, and he smiled while doing it.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg invented felonies and charged Trump with those inventions. The judge wouldn’t allow expert testimony from Trump's team on the very thing that the case was about. The jury was allowed to find its own underlying felony. Trump was convicted, of course, because it was a fait accompli.
"Give me the man and I will give you the case against him" is attributed to Stalin’s secret police/prosecutor Lavrentiy Beria. Maybe it was Stalin or Molotov who said it, but the point is that a statist will find a crime to fit the man, and Bragg was the machine politics lackey that the Democrats needed.
Most of the “crimes” that they invented and charged Trump with have disappeared only because Trump was elected president.
Bragg is corrupt to his core. He charged Daniel Penny even though it was obvious that Penny was a hero. Wrong color of skin, however.
Why is Bragg a prosecutor? Ask the voters who put him in office. Bragg is a political animal, not an impartial district attorney. If he doesn't "like" the man or the man's politics, Bragg will find a crime. Now, Bragg has found that a victim of a crime, the victim of a violent and bloody battery, with the wrong "beliefs” isn’t deserving of justice.
Savannah Antao was on the streets of New York speaking to people about abortion. She is pro-life. Savannah was interviewing a woman named Brianna Rivers, who is anti-life (aka pro-abortion). Rivers wasn’t satisfied with losing the argument, so Rivers hit Savanah and badly bloodied her.
At first, Rivers was (rightfully) charged with felony assault and battery. That charge was then reduced to a misdemeanor – and now Alvin Bragg’s office has dismissed the case altogether.
Rivers walks free like she did on the day she committed her bloody battery.
Two things come to mind. Leftist prosecutors are giving license to criminals. The criminals are getting the “message.” The second point is that had the “politics” been reserved – had a pro-life woman battered and bloodied a pro-abortionist, the pro-lifer would have been charged with a felony and the felony would have stuck.
