The FBI has acknowledged it had 274 plainclothes agents in the massive crowds on Jan. 6, 2021, more than four and a half years after questions were first raised about the level of FBI involvement that day, Blaze News has learned.

A senior congressional source said the number is not necessarily a surprise, since the FBI often embeds countersurveillance personnel at large events.

But given the FBI’s until-now steadfast refusal to disclose the level of its presence at the Capitol, the figure might still be viewed with skepticism in some quarters.

The news comes in the wake of claims by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Inspector General that the FBI had no undercover personnel in the Jan. 6 crowds.

That's a substantial presence, yet they never lifted a finger to calm things down. OTOH, how many whipped up the part of the crowd around them?

New Jersey’s Assault on Homeschooling

New Jersey Democrats have unveiled a power grab that threatens the very foundation of parental rights. 

Assembly Bill 5825, introduced by Democrat Sterley Stanley, would mandate that homeschool families align their curricula with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, including diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) requirements newly infused into curricula from history to health. 

Parents who’ve chosen to educate children independently often do so to avoid the heavily political worldviews imposed in government classrooms. By effectively compelling homeschooling families to parrot political narratives on race, gender, and identity, such mandates confirm the odd ownership many Democrats feel over people’s kids.

Yoder vs. Wisconsin and Pierce vs. Society of Sisters will be obstacles to this power grab.

NC Judge Who Released Iryna Zarutska's Killer Faces Removal As Thousands Sign Petition for Her Ouster

More than 11,000 signatures have been collected demanding the removal of North Carolina Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes. Despite Brown being a mentally ill repeat offender with 14 prior convictions, Stokes released him without bail in January after he was arrested for abusing the 911 system. Brown's release was also contingent upon a "written promise" that he would return for a court hearing. The petition reads in part:

“Why was a mentally ill, repeat offender allowed to walk free in Charlotte? After his most recent arrest — before he killed Iryna — Decarlos was released without bail by Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes. According to North Carolina lawmakers, Judge Stokes released him ‘based solely on his written promise to appear for a future court date.’ Judge Stokes reviewed Decarlos’s lengthy criminal record, and possibly his history of mental illness, and still let him walk. We need answers and accountability.”

Colombian President Gustavo Petro this week called for criminal proceedings against Donald Trump, whom he compared to Adolf Hitler while speaking before the United Nations General Assembly.

In Petro’s final speech before the U.N. in New York on Tuesday, he observed (according to a live translation from the U.N.) that the world is in a “different situation” than it was when he first addressed the international body in 2022.  “The old societies of Europe are collapsing,” he said, “and the United States is applauding its new Hitler. It’s not listening to its own young people, or its older people who died in the battlefields of Europe, fighting against Hitler and against his criminal ideology. Today, the same thing is being done as Hitler did, building concentration camps for migrants, and it’s stated that migrants are of an inferior race, and they blame them just like Hitler blamed the Jews. They call them drug traffickers and thieves.”

Dozens of delegates from multiple nations walked out of the U.N. General Assembly Hall as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began to speak. Netanyahu told fellow world leaders on Friday that his nation “must finish the job” against Hamas in Gaza.

Not shocking, the UN hasn't liked Israel for quite a while now, they really don't like Israel defending itself.  If only there was some good faith action Hamas might be able to take to stop getting bombed for a bit.  Bet a good stack of cash most of those walking out have no idea Hamas is still holding hostages and bodies from almost two years ago now.

After years of FBI Directors dissembling before Congress and refusing to acknowledge that they had agents at the Capitol on January 6th, Kash Patel released bombshell documents not only revealing the number of agents but also reporting that, in after-action reports, many of them were quite angry that they had been set up to be pawns in a political game to destroy conservatives.
They complained bitterly about the Washington Field Office's politicization and the prosecutors who chose to prosecute or not based on their woke, liberal politics.

It's an interesting window into the behind-the-scenes drama that the politicized FBI has been hiding for years, although it comes as no surprise to those who have been following the decline of the agency since Obama became president.
