DUmmies want an economy where everyone is equally impoverished. I'm sure they look at pictures of Soviet-era bread lines and view them as the model of societal equality. They probably lay awake at night contemplating how delighted they would be to stand in the same line as Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos waiting for government food handouts. It's rather obvious that the majority of them are miserable human beings and, rather than find some joy in life, they would prefer that everyone else was just as unhappy as they are. I've never seen a group of people who spent so much time and energy nit-picking and complaining about literally everything.
What the Left has revealed over the last couple of months is pretty interesting:
- The government should borrow money forever, without end, without limit;
- The government should print money forever, without end, without limit;
- The government should hire as many people as possible, without end, without limit;
- Every single dollar spent by the government is completely legitimate and absolutely necessary;
- The stock market is required to go up every single day, without fail;
- Any deviation from or question about any of the above is fascist, racist, and Nazi.
No one has asked recently. but I gua-ran-****in-tee you that if youasked a liberal where all the money is supposed to come from when the bills come due, you'd get: "TAX THE RICH!"
Leave aside that every penny of value owned by "the rich" would cover a sliver of the debt at best, and that's if the value of the equity liquidated doesn't get destroyed. Liberals can't understand that,
because they're so ****ing stupid that they think we all live in a Richie Rich comic, where wealth is stored in giant rooms filled with gold, diamonds, and stacks of cash.
Just to check, I've consulted my Dornbusch & Fisher, my Romer, my Sargent, and my Stokey and Lucas, and I don't see the words "fascist" or "racist" in any of the discussions about fiscal or monetary policy.
