MSNBC made the decision to YANK the Morning Joe show on their first scheduled day on the air after the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump. Even MSNBC was nervous about what the members of the Morning Joe show would say. It would have been like putting Keith Olbermann on the air to comment. Think I'm exaggerating? Watch Morning Joe go full TDS and you can understand why the show was yanked.

I’ve had a few employees through the years that tried that tactic. As a matter of fact in the last year I’ve had 3 make a threat to quit because they thought they had me over a barrel. They were unemployed that day. One of those is trying to hire back right now … I’m dragging my feet. I may let him come back but it won’t be at the rate he left at.
