My wife and I watched the debate. Both of us actually felt sorry for the guy watching him struggle with common words. My Aunt had a mild stroke this past spring. She has the same issue, and is VERY intelligent and well spoken. It's hard to watch.

I agree that it was hard to watch, and I too, actually did feel sorry for him ...

I place the blame for his struggling squarely on his handlers.  He should never have been pushed to even take part in the debate!!!

Here’s my take away. Bruce Willis has aphasia. He’s an actor, and one of my personal favorites, but he’s an entertainer. He made the very personal decision to step away from his career due to his issues. He’s an actor.

Fetterman is running for a powerful seat in the senate. He’s not an actor. He will need to make some difficult decisions that will effect a lot of people. He has aphasia.

Fetterman should follow Bruce Willis’s lead. He’s not competent and he knows it.

A couple of things I thought about regarding Fetter "Woman" if is he did somehow get into the U.S. Senate. Is it permissible to wear a hoodie on the Senate floor? And will every word uttered by his fellow members of the Senate during debates and discussion be provided to him via close captioning on a 70 inch TV?

Much like Obama, I denigrate their political views not a politicians disability, gender, or color of skin.

It's not just decision making. It's also necessary to be able to communicate effectively when serving as a senator.

I never wanted Fetterman to win, and Dr. Oz is no ideal candidate. But Fetterman needs to lose. My father died of a stroke, and I wish Fetterman the best recovery possible. I do not, however, wish him well in matters of politics. I'm sick and tired of the democrats' games, blaming the captioning system, trying to hide their candidates from public view, acting like their candidate doesn't need to justify their potential presence in our government, and the media's servility in trying to cover for them.

This is very important!  The media is complicit and the democrats admitted they shouldn’t have allowed him to debate because his constituents didn’t need to know how bad he is mentally. THAT is total bullshit.
