Search for a COVID-19 Test Means Sold-Out Signs, Long Lines
There were no testing kits at my local pharmacy in mid WI yesterday.
Search for a COVID-19 Test Means Sold-Out Signs, Long Lines
Pig crap! I was in our local Walgreens a couple of times in the past 3-8 weeks and both times noted that they had in multiple displays a cumulative total of at least 50-100 dipstick quick tests. They probably had even more in their storage area. That store is in, obviously, Silicon Valley, but in a neighborhood that is much closer to worst than to best. I also know that one of my munchkins and munchkins-in-law who live a half hour from San Diego (not in
kpete's tony gated community!) found and used dipstick tests very recently.
Plus or minus spot shortages due to logistics issues, I think this NYT article was lapdoggery shilling for
LIEden's 500M "free" tests that cannot become available for so many months that the current
Panic-Variant will be the
Rho or
Sigma Moronic Variant. Unlike Trump's careful prep for vaccine distribution (large quantities of vaccine produced in advance, large quantities of vials, syringes, needles, and other disposables produced in advance),
LIEden's Freebies had no preparation (quantities made in advance or additional capacity brought online) and will be on top of the current volume of production ... after the
Snails of Bureaucracy find and cross the starting line.
My WAG is that
LIEden's Freebies won't go into circulation until somewhere in the March-May time frame (2022, of course,

).
That is all.
