Can't associate with this or that group.... You got caught dog fighting, now you have to support animal rights organizations... Have to donate money to this or that cause related to the person(s) you harmed....It seems to me that part of the sentencing for the 1/6 offenders should be that they have to not only stay away from Qanon quackery but how about they have to make a public statement saying that the election was not stolen and other efforts to publicly demonstrate that they now believe it was all BS? I would actually be OK with a slightly reduced sentence if they are willing to make a public statement, to say that they got sucked into a big lie, and to do other things to publicly discourage others from falling into the trap. Some of the offenders have already done that. When they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, and had to go to court/jail, it made them realize it was all bullshit, and they've stated that in court.I think a concerted effort to very publicly acknowledge that they were duped and the election was not stolen, and that they made a mistake, and that the election fraud stuff is all lies, it could have an affect on some of the others who are getting sucked in and could have a positive affect overall on healing our country and it would reduce the possibility that the problem continues to get worse. And that is what we need.I'm not a lawyer but I would think judges have the ability to include things like this in the sentencing.https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216060215
