Okay, no more bullshitting around... we need to beat those faggy Marlins into the ground.  We've been suffering for 25 years, and Florida doesn't even have any fans!!!!  Where do they get off beating us so much?  Who told them they were allowed to play us tough and spoil our post-season?  They better not even THINK about giving us trouble.  They need to do the right thing and roll over and die.

LA was 4-4 against the phils, and 3-4 against the mets.  overall, the mets struck me as the more solid team.  and BSS
has halfway converted me into a semi-met fan from our conversations in this thread this season.  if the dodgers weren't
playing, or were playing late, i found myself watching the mets a LOT this season.

BSS is such a bad influence. :-)

The hot Phillies ran into the slightly hotter Marlins, and the Fish won.  Coupled with the Mets breaking a tie game open with four runs in the eighth--rookie OF Daniel Murphy needs to start every game until the end of the regular season--and the Mets go back on top of the NL East.

The Mets will seal the deal next week, agains thte Cubs, whose magic number dropped to one with the Reds taking out the Brew Crew.

We haven't been able to beat Florida for three years, for some damn reason.  If MLB would be kind enough to not schedule us to play them in September anymore, that would be greatly appriciated.  :cheersmate:
