Looking over the UK paper's article it looks like a strictly local student-organized club, so they probably had zero Internet presence. From the article, it sounds like the students' interests were guns, chemistry, and Bible study - all weird and sinister to DU ignorami, but obviously pretty innocuous, given the fact that Conditt was the only one who became violent, and that only after a lapse of 5 or more years. BTW, the homeschooling community is pretty "diverse", so there's a substantial chance that this club was ethnically "diverse".
I se that
the leadership staff at the church he attended is majority white, but there are some ethnic minorities on staff. The same is true of
the elders, some of whom are also staff.
DU-folk desperately need a white right-wing Fundie gun-nut to be a mass killer, to support their narrative that all such people are dangerous crazies. Conditt is the closest they've come, but there's up to 5 years gap between Conditt leaving his parents' home and continual influence and his bombings.
Being more recent - playing a DU-style conclusion jumping game - maybe the authorities should be looking at his classes, professors, and friends at the JC. More seriously the question really is what happened in Conditt's head between graduating from high school and his first bombing.
