Unless we learn exactly "What Happened" in 2016, we won't win in 2018 and 2020. The majority of this post is discussing the lessons we need to learn from 2016.
I'll gladly tell you all the biggest lessons you should learn, knowing it'll be ignored:
.) Don't nominate someone who is greedily corrupt, like Hillary;
.) Don't nominate someone who has proven themselves inept, like Hillary;
.) Don't nominate someone who has a track record of defending and enabling rapists, like Hillary;
.) Don't nominate someone who has people in her party rig the primary process and debates for her;
.) Don't nominate someone who sets up her own email server to evade government records, Freedom of Information Act, and other accountability laws;
.) Don't nominate someone who thereby cluelessly exposes highest level secrets to moderately skilled hackers;
.) Don't nominate someone who exudes entitlement;
.) Don't nominate someone whose every word and phrase drips with arrogance and condescension;
.) Don't nominate someone who considers anyone who votes against them morally deplorable.
