Thu Aug 24, 2017, 10:22 PMBigmanPigman (3,606 posts)I have decided to buy myself a mental health gift.Actually I ordered two. It's an inflatable and weighted clown punching bag. Now when I get pissed off at the fake prez I can take my frustration out on the other clown. It has two sides. One is a smiling/laughing clown and the other is a crying one. I plan to draw his ugly puss on it naturally. I don't know whether or not to give the second one to my sister as I originally planned or save it for myself as a back up in case I destroy mine too quickly.

I hear you; it is hard to find peace of mind nowadays...For me, I decided to begin learning how to play the guitar last September as a way to deal with my emotions. Gives me goals to reach for and it helps me out to play a few songs. Cathartic!

It'll probably be additionally therapeutic for me to draw his crying and ugly faces on the two sides. I'll add a red tie too. Maybe on the second one I'll draw that raging and crying KKK Nazi that was on that video and is in jail now. I'll draw him in a white hood or a Nazi uniform (on the angry/raging side) and in prison stripes or orange jumpsuit on the crying side.
Cutting is a form of self-injury -- the person is literally making small cuts on his or her body, usually the arms and legs. It's difficult for many people to understand. But for kids, cutting helps them control their emotional pain, psychologists say. This practice has long existed in secrecy. Cuts can be easily hidden under long sleeves. But in recent years, movies and TV shows have drawn attention to it -- prompting greater numbers of teens and tweens (ages 9 to 14) to try it."We can go to any school and ask, 'Do you know anyone who cuts?' Yeah, everybody knows someone," says Karen Conterio, author of the book, Bodily Harm.
