I wonder if TEB has a learning disability.
We had a branch manager at the bank where I worked who had such crappy grammar that it made me cringe. "Not never," "have ate," "not no one," etc. That was kind of acceptable among the tellers, but as far as I was concerned, if she was expected to go out and sell accounts, visit business customers, etc. it reflected poorly on the entire bank.
I would guess that TEB doesn't speak nearly as poorly as he writes. Even if he doesn't have perfect grammar he has to make himself understood.
