The clerk says DJT isn't a Republican or a Democrat and will do whatever he wants.

The customer replies that DJT is just trying to bring us all together.

I can't think of anything even halfway civil to spout, so I stay out of the conversation

10:00AM. I get an email from a student who is going to miss some classes, having left the country to deal with a family emergency. I find myself worrying if the student will be able to re-enter the US

1:00PM. After my class, I notice a student wearing a **** DONALD shirt

1:30PM. It's lunch-time. I grab a hoagie from a young middle-eastern woman wearing a hijab. I find her charming, and I'm very polite: a warm smile and grateful eyes reward me

Older women, Sara, behind me was also buying cigarettes and said she and her friends were going, too. They followed me and my daughter to the metro station and we participated all together. It was nice.
