Since Internet access is mostly through private companies - whether paid home service or "free" at Starchucks (and other businesses) or through one's job (probably not many DU-folk have experience with this) - or through government agencies and colleges, no.

Whether as individuals or as en entire discussion site, DU-folk are to insignificant to be on Trump's radar screen (and I am well aware that the same could be said of me and this discussion sites I frequent).DU-folks' inflated sense of self-importance is astoundingly amusing.

Because it is what they have been running all these years. They are invested in this platform and software architecture -- it would be all but impossible to switch.  They have millions of messages that would have to be reformatted to the new structure (if at all possible) and many of the users have grown to know and like the way it operates.

I prefer it to the nested approach of most BBs.
