Now, in defense of my fellow alum Skins, although I wish miskie were here to explain an answer.

Going on the theory that he's told the truth, that Skins's island was in fact indeed hacked, wouldn't it take quite a while to rebuild the site?  Remember that very long time conservativecave was down in 2014; a couple of months, believe it or not.

Of course there's a difference; conservativecave has always been run entirely by volunteer labor, no computer professionals involved in any paying capacity to keep it up and running.  These same volunteers have full-time real-life jobs and families that demand their attention.

Whereas Skins's island is ostensibly operated by three gentlemen for whom it's their only, or at least principal, responsibility.

And not to forget, they think they're smarter than decent and civilized people.

But.....going back to my original question, assuming that we're being told the truth about the downage, wouldn't it take time to get a site back up after a major hack?

What I'm reading from that Facebook page is not the type of attitude that needs to come from the primitives. They still don't get it.

Listened to some Michael Moore videos today since some media pundits are praising him for having seen the ruined state of the American working middle class. He saw some things, but his reasons behind why things went the way they did are way off course. He still doesn't get it.

Now the NYT and others are saying they were in the tank for Clinton instead of just reporting and are wanting back in people's good graces. They still don't get it.

Until liberals cast aside their ideology and all the hatred they have (which they falsely point to others and claim they're the haters), they are on the outside looking in. But, hanging onto their failed ideology is the most important thing to them in the world. They're still discussing ways of repackaging the same failures for which they've always stood. They don't have the mental capacity or the humility to say to themselves "We need to take our failed liberal viewpoints, cast them into the abyss, and become conservatives because they're been right all along and we've been wrong all along."

Because until they do that, they'll never get it.
